Support Ministry

We offer compassionate care to those in need through three support groups for those hurting from divorce, loss of a loved one, and children and their parents with family challenges.

Divorce Recovery — Offered twice a year, in the fall and spring, for 12 weeks on Sunday evenings, this course is designed to meet two main objectives:

· To help divorced people understand their emotions and give concrete steps
   of action to deal with those emotions.

· To provide an emotional support group.

Life During Grief — Offered twice each year (eight week class).  If you have experienced a significant loss, please let us send you a brochure that describes what is being discussed, such as: When Dreams Fall Apart, The Seasons of Grief, Eight Emotion Markers, Five Forward Steps. We will meet you anytime to help you with your journey. We are convinced that no one should ever grieve alone.

Confident Kids — Growing up today can be stressful. Broken or unhealthy relationships, abuse, alcoholism, unemployment, accidents, illness, low self-esteem, violence or substance abuse are just a few of the issues that face many of our children. Confident Kids, for children ages 5-12, provides support groups for hurting children and struggling parents.
